The Ritz Carlton Orlando is conveniently located near Sea World, but tucked away from the craziness of Orlando, Florida. The property is extremely private and peaceful. They even have their own golf course and lake.
Families will appreciate their double bedrooms. They have plenty of room for a family of 4 and you could probably stick a small child on that chair. When I stayed here I was not with my kids, but instead staying with two of my friends. Despite there being three of us in this room we had plenty of space. Although, one of our other friends had a suite and we spent most of our room time hanging out in her living room.
My favorite part of the property is the pool. I could spend all day hanging out at the pool. They have many complimentary pool floats and toys you can use. They have wait staff that will bring you food and drinks. I highly recommend their Watermelon Cooler cocktail. I would not have normally ordered something like this, but Dana from Moms Good Eats selected it. She has great taste!
All of the food I had at the Ritz Carlton Orlando was excellent. My favorite two places were Highball & Harvest and The Kitchen and The Brewery.
Whisper Creek Farm: The Kitchen
Kia took me out to the The Kitchen and it was awesome. All the food they brought out was wonderful. I had the steak at The Kitchen and it was phenomenal.
Ritz Carlton Orlando Kid’s Amenities
The Ritz Carlton Orlando has gone all out on their kids room. For a fee, you can drop your kids off and go out on a date. Here they can play, watch tv, game, do arts and crafts, read, and more.
Kids love the candy bar in the lobby!
There is a great playground outside for kids as well with a splash pad. You do not have to pay to use this part of the resort.
I highly recommend watching for a deal for this hotel. They run some nice packages for families. I also suggest you use get the dining special if they have one, that includes childcare in their kids club. It’s actually cheaper than paying separately for each.
