Weight Watchers Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins

I love Weight Watchers recipes even though I’m not actually in Weight Watchers yet. The older I get the more I have to cut calories, especially after having a hysterectomy. Lucky for me my  mom gave me a couple of great weight watchers recipes including some dessert recipes.  Here is one of my favorites.

Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins

1 box devils food cake mix
1 – 15 oz can pumpkin
1/2 c. water
Mix together and put in muffin tin sprayed with Pam.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serves 24
Each serving = 1 1/2 Weight Watchers points

That is an old WW favorite for sure. I haven’t seen it for a while though and had forgotten about it.
I recall that sometimes people added Fibre 1 to it too.

Ooh, looks like an easy dessert I can make for my boys. I’m not a baker and have little patience for measuring all the ingredients, so something like this is perfect!

Ooh these sound great and it’s a low point recipe I haven’t come across yet! I love finding good snack/dessert ideas that are tasty and don’t cost me a lot of points.

Mmm … I will have to try these. I’ve made something similar before, but with brownie mix (so good!). Thanks for sharing. P.S. I’m in your SITS Girls Tribe:)

Mmm, pumpkin and chocolate are a favourite combination! Who knew that a recipe could be so easy!! I wonder if Betty Crocker gluten-free mix would work here – cause that would be perfect for me (gluten-free eater). Thanks for sharing! #sitsblogging

That looks delicious. I am not on weight watchers but am watching what I eat. I love healthier alternatives to decadent desserts!
