Blogger Bash 2015

For the first time ever I attended a blogger conference. I am trying to remember why I finally decided to attend one, but for the life of me cannot remember. I do know that I decided on Blogger Bash 2015 because they only have 500 bloggers attend and it’s by invitation only.  I was lucky to know a handful of the people in attendance. You might recognize Desiree from Stress Free Baby.

The event kicked off Wednesday night for those of us that were in town and considered VIP’s (Vips paid a little extra for certain perks.) with a cocktail party at Delta. Delta makes children’s furniture. Look at that crib set! I couldn’t believe how nice some of their stuff was. They had lots of Disney themed nursery, toddler, and children’s furniture too.

Thursday was kind of random, but awesome. I met with various companies. Breakfast was with the Care Bear company. Did you know they have lots of fun apps for kids? I didn’t. That’s where I got that sweet photo of me with a Care Bear. I like the way that Care Bear makes me look skinny.

Following that I got to check out some really great jewelry by Amrita Singh. I thought it looked pretty, but I assumed it was out of my price range. After checking out some of the prices I realized that I was wrong, it’s actually really affordable. Everyone should definitely check it out!

After that I had a chance to meet the Evite.com crew over at their NYC offices. You know the free online invitation service everyone leaves.

Thursday night was Sweet Suite – an opportunity to meet with all kinds of toy companies and see all the latest and greatest coming out between now and Christmas. As a mom of three I love getting to do this. I feel like I’ve already picked out all the kids Christmas presents!

The most random game I saw all night had to be this Lay it or Break it game. I feel like this picture does a better job of explaining it than I could. Just know that it is extremely funny and probably a game you will only play around family.
Coming out before Christmas are these googles your child can where and help the Avengers fight crime. I love this, because my son could play this by himself and still have fun. He doesn’t know it yet, but he is getting this for Christmas. They had some other products kind of like this too that looked neat. I recommend checking out other Fotorama products, they were by far my favorite of the night.

I got lucky and won a dinosaur toy a MiPosaur for my son. Look how happy he was to get it!  The MiPosaur is a highly intelligent robotic creature with an incredible, evolving intelligence and personality.

It can sense its own surroundings and environment, and Interact with them in a unique and lifelike way.
In addition to featuring GestureSense™ technology that lets you control it with the swipe of your hand, the MiPosaur has sturdy MIP (Mobile Inverted Pendulum, created with the UCSD Coordinated Robotics Lab) balance and comes with an interactive TrackBall
equipped with BeaconSense technology. With it, the MiPosaur can chase the trackball, play with it, guard it, as well as alter its moods depending on the various interactions. The MiPosaur is fully interactive with the MiP robot and a BLE enabled app, compatible with both iOS and Android smart devices, and will feature exciting and engaging games. MSRP $119.99

On Friday there was Babypalozza. I didn’t spend much time in this area since I no longer have a baby. My niece is still a baby and I picked up a few items for her including the baby buddy toothbrush.

I was able to catch a talk on SEO and recorded it. I thought it was an excellent presentation. If you are trying to learn more on improving your SEO check it out.

Friday’s lunch included a question and answer session with some cast members from the new Peanuts movie coming out in November. Yes, the little red headed girl is the kid from Dog with a Blog.

Check out the official Peanuts movie trailer. It looks like it’s gonna be a great movie.

Last but not least was a wild and crazy time at the Lentil’s closing party. It was a carnival with circus type acts.
