The kids and I were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 yesterday. The movie comes out in just 5 days on September 25, 2015.

The movie was great. I loved the first one, but wondered how they would make another one as good. The story line again takes place at Drac’s house and includes loads of monsters. They’ve opened their hotel to humans, so there is a lot of human vs. monster interaction moments that were hysterical.

In this movie Drac has a grandson, Mavis and Jonathan’s son, who appears to be a regular human instead of a vampire. Basically the whole movie revolves around this problem and hilarity ensues.

Drac takes his little grandson Dennis to vampire camp to “scare” the fangs out of him in hopes of turning him into a vampire. Only Drac is met with disappointment when he sees how the camp has changed since he was a child. It’s all feel good and easy compared to hard knocks and scary.  All of us that think back the to way things used to be when we were kids versus how things are now for our own kids will appreciate this movie.
