Taco Cowboy: The Best Tapas Bar in Atlanta

IMG_5614.JPGEvery big city needs a tapas bar and Atlanta has a great one. Taco Cowboy is the best tapas bar in Atlanta. And yes, it used to be Noche.

$15 will get you an entire pitcher of  sangria, which is the perfect way to start your meal. They also have an extensive margarita menu. The Holy Guacamole aka loaded queso is another great way to start your meal off. I have no idea why they refer to it as guacamole instead of queso.

We ate here with some friends, so I can’t remember exactly what everyone orders, but I’ve labeled all the pictures with what I remember. This place was packed, but we were still able to get a table right away.

The bacon wrapped dates here were outstanding and they were cheap, only $5.

Applewood-Smoked Bacon-Wrapped Dates with blue cheese vinaigrette for $5.

Chicken Empanadas with pineapple-mango salsa & chipotle aioli for $6.

The fried green tomatoes were covered thoroughly with blue cheese. If you do not like blue cheese skip these.
