I have had the privilege of living in Portland, Oregon a city jammed packed with good food for about a decade. After eating at who knows how many Portland restaurants, I decided to put together a list of the best things I have had to eat or drink in Portland. I plan to continuously update this! Here they are in no particular order.

SE Wine Collective – The Stracciatella Cheese made in house at SE Wine Collective served with figs, crispy prosciutto, and pickled melon. 2425 SE 35th Pl, Portland, OR 97214
Andina – Rabbit at Andina or anything at Andina. Their food is fantastic. Located in the Pearl District at 1314 NW Glisan St, Portland, OR 97209.
Three Degrees Waterfront Grill – The “Almost Heaven” cocktail at Three Degrees Waterfront Grill. It is not on the menu, you will have to request it. Located at 1510 SW HARBOR WAY PORTLAND, OR 97201
Beast – Salmon at Beast or any meat dish. 5425 NE 30th Ave, Portland, OR 97211
Ox – The Heirloom Hominy, Braised Pork Belly, Chiles, Cilantro, Olive Oil-Fried Duck Egg at Ox. Located near the Nike Outlet store 2225 NE MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BLVD., PORTLAND, OREGON 97212.
Altabira City Tavern– They offer a seasonal dessert that is outstanding, the Strawberry Almond Upside Down Cake with Toasted Coconut Ice Cream. This is located near the Llyod Center at 1021 NE Grand Ave. Suite 600, Portland, OR 97232.
Ringside– Ringside’s onion rings which they are famous for. These are pretty much guaranteed to be the best onion rings you’ve ever had. 2165 W Burnside St, Portland, OR 97210
Vivace – All the crepes at Vivace Coffee House and Creperie are fab, especially the banana Nutella ones. They offer sweet or savory crepes. Located on popular NW 23rd: 1400 NW 23rd Ave

Tamale Boy – Tacos or tamales at Tamale Boy. They are located in North Portland at 668 N Russell St, Portland, OR 97227. They also have a location in the Portland airport. If you are at the airport this is where you should eat!
Boxer Ramen – The ramen, of course! They have several locations, including over in the Alberta district and in downtown Portland.
Alto Bajo – The salsa is in my opinion the best in Portland. It’s horribly overpriced, but so good. The chocolate flan is do die for too. Located in downtown Portland at 310 SW Stark St, Portland, OR 97204.
PDX Sliders – The loaded french fries and pretty much any of their sliders. Everything they make is great. They have two locations our favorite is the one on the east side at 3101 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97202.
Can Font – Can Font is a new-ish tapas restaurant in the Pearl District. Their Saltejat de Bolets amb Pop i Llangostins aka Seasonal Mushrooms, Octopus and Langostinos is fabulous. 1015 NW Northrup St, Portland, OR 97209
Nel Centro – They have several standout dishes including the Spinach Gnocchi with Radicchio & Gorgonzola Dolce. Located in downtown Portland at 1408 SW 6th Ave, Portland, OR 97201.
Raven and Rose – This is another place that has great food overall, but it was the steak that was the standout! Located downtown at 1331 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97201.
Life of Pie – This pizza join has the best margarita pizza in town. During lunch it costs just $5. They are located in North Portland at 3632 N Williams Ave, Portland, OR 97227.
Gravy – Gravy is a killer breakfast restaurant in North Portland on Mississippi Avenue. Their oatmeal is over the top and their chili verde the best in town. 3957 N Mississippi Ave, Portland, OR 97227
Proud Mary Cafe – A bit of Australia right here in Portland over in the Alberta district is the Proud Mary Cafe. This is their hot cake. it’s yummy and photogenic. 2012 NE Alberta St, Portland, OR 97211
Verdigris – Verdigris is a tiny little French restaurant in NE Portland with an outstanding ribeye burger that you can customize! 1315 NE Fremont St, Portland, OR 97212
Jackrabbit – Inside the Duniway is Jackrabbit restaurant has a 28 day aged 4 pound pin bone steak that will blow your mind. It is served with seasonal vegetables and bone marrow.
Brick Tavern – The Brix Chips are outstanding!
The lobster roll at King Tide Fish & Shell. The sweet potato side dish at The Waiting Room.
The Monsoon French fries at Culmination Brewing. These are only available on Sundays during Jackfruit Kitchen’s vegan pop up.
