Totem by Cirque Du Soleil

Totem by Cirque Du Soleil is another outstanding show. I am continually surprised how awesome their shows are. I have seen 4 of them now including Beatles Love and they have all been excellent and so completely different from each other. You would think they would have some similar elements, but really the only thing that is similar is that they are all great shows. During Totem after many of the acts I found myself thinking “I’ve never seen anything like this.”

This show featured performers doing Russian bar, which that act alone is worth going for. If you are not familiar with Russian bar then you are in for a real treat.

Totem Cirque de SoleilThen two roller skaters came out and knocked it out of the park. First of all how many amazing acts have you seen on roller skates? Exactly! None! Then these two come out and do the craziest tricks I have ever seen. The trick shown in this photo is so crazy and so spectacular I almost jumped out of my seat. totem roller-skates

Then there is the sparkly ladies. I do not know what else to call them. Twins wearing sparkly outfits that can spin carpets around. I know what your thinking how is that exciting. Well, you will just have to see it. These ladies are crazy talented and I have never seen anything like it. TOTEM
