What’s better than a unicorn milkshake?
Nothing, literally nothing.
Okay, okay, maybe that is a slight exaggeration. We love all things unicorn in our house. In fact, we’ve been traveling with a unicorn named Mr. Hinkley for years and years now. You may have seen him in many of our pictures on this blog! I guess you could say Mr. Hinkley inspired this milkshake! This unicorn milkshake is easy to make and so colorful! I hope your kids love it.
1 drop pastel pink food coloring
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/4. cup milk
2 tbsp. Cotton candy syrup
Vanilla cake frosting
Small circle cake sprinkles
Large candy swirl pop colors to match
1 cotton candy old fashion stick candy
Green rock candy stick
The candy coating on the glass:
Spread the frosting around the rim of the milkshake glass.
Press the glass into sprinkles.
Place glass in the refrigerator to chill.
Combine the milk, vanilla ice cream, cotton candy syrup, and pastel pink food coloring in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour your milkshake into the glass.
Place glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
This allows for a firmer top layer to hold the candy decorations.
Top the shake with whipped cream.
Sprinkle cake sprinkles.
Insert a green rock candy stick on one of the sides.
Insert the swirl pop into the back of the shake.
Insert the candy stick on the opposite side of the rock candy.
