White Chocolate Crinkle Cookies the perfect Valentine’s Day Treat

White Chocolate Crinkle Cookies the perfect Valentine’s Day Treat

White chocolate crinkle cookies are the perfect Valentine's day treatThese white chocolate crinkle cookies are an awesome Valentine’s Day treat. And they are low-fat, just kidding! I do not have a clue as to how many calories are in them. Just remember if it’s a holiday or if you are on vacation calories do not count.

The best part about these cookies, apart from being delicious, is that they are super easy to make. So, easy that your kids could easily make them by themselves. Why are they so easy? Because they are essentially cake mix cookies. I am a huge fan of any dessert you can make using a box cake mix! I always keep cake mix on hand just for the purpose of making cake mix cookies or bars, like Yum Yum Bars. I realize this sounds super lazy, but come on now. I am a single mom with three kids that works full time. Honestly it’s a freaking miracle if I bake something.

White Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients:
1 package white cake mix
2 1/2 cups thawed, frozen whipped topping, divided
6 tbsp butter, melted, divided
1 egg, beaten, divided
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup of white melting chocolate chips
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
Blend white cake mix, whipped topping, butter and egg in medium bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
Place powdered sugar in small bowl and set aside.
Using a small ice cream scooper, scoop out cookie dough and roll into a small ball.
Place the cookie ball into powdered sugar to coat generously.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 11 – 13 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned and the tops are crackled.
Remove immediately. Place on a wire rack to cool completely.
In a small bowl add white chocolate melting chips and melt as directed in the microwave.
Use a spoon and drizzle the chocolate over the cookies.
Set aside and allow the chocolate to set.
Hope you enjoy these simple crinkle cookies!
