Walking Along the Seine River in Paris, France

Walking Along the Seine River in Paris, France

Paris, France is just as beautiful as everyone says it is. I only had an eight hour layover there and to maximize what I got to see I walk around the city. I mostly walked along the Seine river towards the Eiffel Tower from Notre Dame Cathedral.  Notre Dame is next to the river.
Here are some photos of the Seine I took along the way.

The Seine River is a 483 mile long river and an important commercial waterway within the Paris in the north of France. It flows through Paris and eventually into the English Channel.
Fun fact, well, not it’s not really fun, but Joan of Arc’s ashes were thrown into the Seine after she was burned at the stake.
