If you’ve read some of my other articles you already know that I am a massive fan of the Cosmopolitan hotel. It’s newer, it’s part of Marriott so you get your points, and it’s packed with fantastic food options like Pok Pok and Donuts Sliders Brews and the pools are killer. It has three swimming pools one of which overlooks the strip. The Boulevard Pool is a rooftop pool with pool tables, video games, table tennis aka ping pong, foosball, and loungers you can sit in that are halfway in the pool. Plus, they have two fitness centers, outdoor tennis, and pickleball courts.

Mandalay Bay Resort has the best pool for kids in town out of all of the resorts. The pool features a lazy river, a large wave pool, and more.
Also found here is the Shark Reef Aquarium which my kids enjoyed immensely and the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show which was phenomenal. The shark reef as The aquarium is home to multiple species of sharks, including sand tiger, sandbar, and white tip reef sharks. The kid-friendly pool and the waterfalls with lagoons are a center of attraction. The Venetian or The Palazzo Resort
This kid-friendly and luxurious hotel has a five-acre pool deck with multiple swimming pools and hot tubs. The Venetian and Palazzo share the pools and the Grand Canal Shoppes which is why I’ve grouped them together. Between the two properties, there are also more than 20 different restaurants where you can find a variety of cuisines ensuring you are able to find some food your kids will like. Both have spacious suites that make it easy to spread out a bit.
It’s a great location, just across the street from Treasure Island where kids can see the pirate ship.
Fun fact, out of all the hotels we’ve stayed at this is the one I saw with the most kids. And, if you want to do the gondola do the one that’s outside and not inside. The one inside is boring.
Golden Nugget Hotel
Not only is the Golden Nugget affordable but the location is great right smack inside the Fremont Experience. Kids will love the swimming pool. You can swim around the shark tank and ride down a tube slide right through the shark tank. My kids loved swimming here and I appreciated the lounge chairs being half in the water so I could sunbathe and not overheat.
Circus Circus Hotel
Basically built for families the Circus Circus Hotel has a 5-acre indoor amusement park, the Adventuredome Theme Park with a bunch of different rides. Activities include two roller coasters, bumper cars, rock climbing, and bungee jumping indoors. They also have live circus performers that perform different types of acts throughout the day at the Midway. All around the Midway are arcade games. Plus, they have a waterpark.
The pool is mediocre here, but there is a pool. What’s great about this is the massive arcade, Tournament of Kings a medieval show, and kids like staying in a hotel that is a castle. This place is always super cheap.
New York-New York Hotel
They’ve got a large roller coaster in front of the hotel that goes in and out of the hotel called the Big Apple Coaster. They’ve got large rooms, many of which have two queen beds making it easier to accommodate a large family. They even have dog-friendly rooms. Across the street is the MGM Grand Hotel where you can take your kids to see a magic show by David Copperfield.
Red Rock Casino Resort
The Red Rock Casino is the closest hotel to Red Rock Canyon and they have their own bowling alley, Red Rock Lanes. They are one of the only hotels with childcare. It’s available at their Kid Quest facility, which I have used and recommend. They also have an arcade and a movie theater.
