In the summer season, people love to spend more and more time on the beaches. Europe is one of the most famous destinations for beach lovers because of the diversity of experiences to be had. You can visit this vibrant place in any season of the year.

Now, I am going to guess that you are a bit surprised that I decided to write about nude beaches in Europe but I’ve noticed that a lot of people using my site are looking for nude beaches. And, if I am honest we’ve been to several. You may recall that time we accidentally went to a topless beach in Barcelona. I was super surprised at the time, but as we traveled more I was less surprised when it happened. Back in 2014, we were out at Lido beach in Venice and my kids got their first surprise.

Although I prefer to go to a non-nude beach when we are in Europe I’ve noticed that some of the best beaches are apparently nude-optional, so here you go. There are many nude beaches in Europe where you can visit topless without worrying about any rule and regulation. Below we have listed a few such beaches where you can enjoy in the peak summer season.

Plage de Tahiti

Plage de Tahiti is on the famous Pampelonne beach, is one of the most well-known beaches in St. Tropez. This unofficial nude beach in France is one of the most beautiful tourist spots in the country where you can enjoy the summer heat the way you want. Nobody bothers if you go topless on this beach or get fully nude while walking hand in hand with your partner. With the soft and gentle waves all around, you can find many international celebrities at this beach. It is a beach for people who love to be seen and noticed.

Elia Beach

This is the longest beach on the island. It is not located in the close vicinity to the Mykonos Town. You will have to take a taxi, ride the bus, or rent a car to get here. It’s worth it because it is just as beautiful as Paradise Beach. This is also a gay-friendly hotspot. 

Bellevue Beach

You can reach this beach within 10 minutes from downtown Copenhagen. This beach is located on the most popular coastal road in the country. Reports reveal that it is one of the most loved destinations for all those who love to go topless on beaches. Here you will find arrangements for volleyball nets, white sand, and many other adventure sports activities. 

Guvano Beach

In order to reach this hidden beach, you may need to go through a short downhill hike. But this little exercise will not hurt you more; rather, you will be more excited to enjoy the feeling of getting naked. Guvano beach is known for serving millions of visitors every year in Cinque Terre, Italy. People love its cosmopolitan hippie community and open-minded culture.

Patara Beach

Here is an often-underrated beach that has shallow, warm water surrounded by soft sand in Turkey. It also has a connection to ancient history. Patara is basically a mythical city that is also named as the chosen city. It was founded by Patarus who is identified as god Apollo’s son.

Red Beach

This secluded and intimate Crete beach with walkable pathways is known for its awesome beauty. You can reach this rocky beach by taking a boat from Matala Harbor. The name of this beach is basically given for its rusty red, coarse sand. You will love to spend time in this crystal-clear water, rent umbrellas to enjoy relaxing evenings around or take a primitive concession stand.

There are lots of beautiful beaches in Europe to enjoy, way more than the few we listed here. Wherever you end up one thing is for sure, you will have a memorable experience with friends and family.
