More Margarita Recipes!
For those of you that do not want a regular margarita, I’ve got great news! Cibolo Moon at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa shared some of their recipes with me! The resort’s restaurant, Cibolo Moon, is the FIRST and among a few SERIOUSLY CERTIFIED – AS IN TEQUILA CERTIFIED – restaurants in Texas. Cibolo Moon received the “Award T Recognition” from the Consejo Regulador delTequila (CRT) or Tequila Regulatory Council of Mexico. As part of the recognition, the Cibolo Moon staff has also been trained on tequila guidelines, the history of tequila, agave cultivation and harvesting and the tequila production process including tasting, which makes guests who are either a tequila connoisseur or novice appreciate the level of the staff’s expertise.
Strawberry Jalapeno Infused Margarita
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Strawberry Jalapeno Tequila
0.5 oz Patron Citronge
1 oz Fresh lime juice

Lime wedge and jalapeno for garnish

Rim a margarita glass with salt and fill with ice
Pour mixture over ice with strainer
Garnish with a lime wedge and jalapeño
Lemon-Berry Infused Margarita
1 Bottle of Tequila (Blanco)
12 oz Blueberries
12 oz Raspberries
12 oz Blackberries
Step1- Lightly score each individual berry and place it into the container you will be using to create the infusion.
Step2- Pour the entire bottle of Morales tequila into the jar with the fruit.
Step3- Let the infusion sit for at least 24 hours. You will notice the color changing to a purple tint. I have noticed that 72 hours makes the best flavor for the infusion. Do not be afraid to open the infusion and stir it with a spoon and giving it a taste to see if it tastes like you want it to. This will help to ensure that you have a high-quality product.
Step4- After your infusion has reached its desired color and taste you can strain all the fruit out of the tequila and pour the tequila into the bottle you want to use for serving it.
