We had a nice time staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, especially hanging out at the pool. This is where we stayed on our most recent trip to Disney World. Although the resort is older, it is extremely well kept.

The room was quite similar to the Yacht Club Resort with 2 queen beds and a couch that turned into a twin bed. I do not really know how to explain the couch, but basically you grab the back of the couch and fold it over towards you and BOOM it is A BED already made up for someone to sleep in. To me this was the best part of our room.

Some other things I liked the most about the Boardwalk Resort were:

  • Perfect for families of 5
  • Free Wifi
  • Small Gym
  • Pool with slide and hot tub
  • Short walk into Epcot
  • Boats take you to Hollywood Studios

At one point I need to fix a bathing suit and there was no sewing kit in the room. I ask the front desk for one and it was delivered to our room within 5 minutes.

The double sink area was separate from the tub and toilet which is always more convenient. Especially with a family of five trying to get ready!Boardwalk Resort

The location is fantastic, just outside of Epcot. You can walk straight into Epcot within 10 minutes of less. It is the back way and you end up in the worlds by France.

You are also able to see fireworks from two of the parks from here. You are basically paying for the location when staying here. While we were there rooms were running about $300 a night and up.

We used to come hang out along the boardwalk even when we are not staying here. There’s always something going on. We’ve seen jugglers and magicians.

Once for NYE they had one of their DJ’s set up on the green lawn.

There are lots of restaurants on the Boardwalk as well. Flying Fish and Beaches and Cream are two of our favorite places to visit. We literally visit them every time we go to Disney now.
