Brodie Castle can be found off the highway between the town of Elgin and Inverness in northern Scotland. This is a stunning castle. They have a no photos policy, so I only got a few when no one was around. For 9 pounds I got a one-hour tour. She showed us around the entire house, which was lived in until the 1970s. She gave us a detailed history of the Brodie family and educated us in Scottish art.

This is the front room you can look at until the tour begins.

That is a child’s skeleton and a Japanese warrior mask.

This is the kitchen.

There is a pond way down this road.
