Christmas at Disneyland is a wonderful time to visit because both Disneyland and California Adventure are decorated beautifully. They do not just decorate part of the parks, but go through and decorate everywhere. Everywhere went went we saw Christmas decor. Main Street, U.S.A. has  the storefronts, lampposts and rooftops wrapped in wreaths and garland.

Plus, Disneyland and California Adventure have special fireworks, parades, and shows just for the holidays. After the fireworks show it snows on Main Street, which is truly magical. Everyone gets so excited when it starts snowing.Christmas at Disneyland

Our family was lucky enough to be invited to a special weekend at Disneyland, where we got to check out all the holiday magic throughout the parks. Now I’m our Christmas at Disneyland experience with you.

Christmas at DisneylandIt’s a Small World is all decked out and there is an actual show thing that takes place on the outside walls after dark. The whole thing is brilliant with over 50,000 lights and video projections filling the classic façade with holiday majesty and awe. This video will give you a peak into what you can expect to see.

Disneyland’s Believe in Holiday Magic Fireworks show

One show we caught was Disneyland’s Believe in Holiday Magic Firework show.  It was wonderful, just like every fireworks show Disney does.

Christmas Food & Drinks

During the holidays there are special marketplace kiosks at various locations around the parks with Christmas food and drinks. These are only available during this special time.

The World of Color Holiday Show

Over at California Adventure is the World of Color show. During the holiday season they have a holiday show.
