Christmas in Fort Worth: A Cozy Stay at The Worthington Renaissance

I love spending the holidays where a city dresses up and leans into its traditions — and Fort Worth did not disappoint. We stayed at the Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel and made the trip extra festive by booking the Nutcracker Suite. The suite was beautifully decorated for Christmas; at turndown, they brought milk and cookies, and the hotel even helped with tickets and holiday extras so our weekend felt effortless and magical.

Don’t miss the Fort Worth Herd cattle drive — it runs twice daily and is an iconic stop that feels like a real slice of Cowtown history.
• Christmas in the Garden (Fort Worth Botanic Garden): The Botanic Garden’s holiday lights trail is a spectacular evening stroll — lanterns, light tunnels, and larger-than-life installations make it an ideal after-dinner activity.
