My Favorite Beauty Products and Gadgets
Here are my current favorite beauty products and gadgets. Some are anti-aging, some are massive time savers, and some just make you look awesome.
MicroDerm MD by Trophy Skin
I was sent this at-home microdermabrasion system to use and I loved it. My teens love it too. If you have a teen that has scarring from acne, you will love it too. Not only will it help remove some scarring it will help prevent acne scars. And although it is a touch expensive, it’s way cheaper than having to go out and have it done by a professional.

RejuvaliteMD
Another product I tried by Trophy Skin was the RejuvaliteMD. The RejuvaliteMD uses an interesting combination of lights to reduce wrinkles. It’s boring to sit there, but it is a short process. I recently realized I could just lay in the floor and have it above me. Much better!
Kami Pad
The Kami Pad is an organic anti-wrinkle pad that you can put on your forehead to prevent future wrinkles & works toward reducing existing wrinkles, pigmentation from sun damage, and scars. They also have one that you can place on your chest which is an area that is often ignored, but really shows your age. I wear the chest one under my clothes part of the day or while I sleep. Minimergency Kit
I was given one of these little kits at an event I attended, Heels and Wheels. I didn’t think much about it, but then my daughter forgot an item while we were traveling and I had this in my suitcase. Sure enough, I had exactly what she needed. Since then I have forgotten other items on two other trips and both times I found what I needed in this tiny kit. Magnetic Eyelashes
These eyelashes are seriously one of my favorite things, but most of them I cannot wear. I prefer these half lashes. There are fewer magnets on them making them way easier to put on. I’ve also tried the magnetic eyeliner with lashes and I couldn’t ever get them to stay on. These are the only ones I recommend.

Foreo Luna Mini 2
I balked at the price at first, but came across a mini Foreo and it was much cheaper. You use this little device to wash you face. Full disclosure, I bought this hairdryer for Eden. Then I used it one time and basically never gave it back to her! I LOVE this hair dryer.

To be honest, at first, I didn’t really get it. I didn’t use it right the first few times, but once I got the hang of it, it was great.
Turns out it literally could not be simpler. You put gel on it and treat one area of the face at a time by rubbing it around the area. You set the level to whatever is comfortable for you. It doesn’t hurt even at the highest level. All though it gets quite warm it never gets too hot. As I used it, it didn’t feel bad, but it didn’t feel good either. It just feels like you are rubbing a device on your face because you are.
I highly recommend watching a tutorial video. You are supposed to use it with some sort of gel. I’ve been using the stuff that came with it, but you can also use hyaluronic acid or aloe vera. I don’t like rubbing tons of product all over my face because I am one of those unlucky people that will get adult acne if they irritate their face. So, I was barely using any of the gel and it never quite heated up. It will not heat up unless you use an adequate amount of gel. In the videos, I was stunned by how much gel these ladies had on their faces to use it. I found that you need more than I thought I would, but you certainly don’t need to spread an asinine amount of gel all over your face just to get it to work. Find a happy medium. I was quite pleased that no matter how much gel I use with it I have not had a single issue with acne.
Just for fun, I thought I would throw in two products my sister loves and has reviewed previously for me. I have not tried either of these, but my sister is a beauty expert, so if she says they are good, they are.
Jenu Plus Ultrasonic Infuser
The Jenu Plus Ultrasonic Infuser takes your regular skin products and makes them more effective. You put your products on your face and then use this to essentially push them into your skin. NuFace Trinity Facial Toning Device
