If you’ve upgraded to a Keurig 2.0, then you know it offers a world of possibilities when it comes to coffee-making. From lattes and cappuccinos to hot chocolate and chai tea, the Keurig 2.0 can do it all. But did you know that it can also do even more?

I just got the Keurig 2.0 and I love it. (My dad sent it to me for Christmas! Thanks Dad!) We love having the option to brew a 4-5 cup carafe when we have company.

It can brew a 4, 6, 8, or 10 oz cup of coffee or it can brew a 2-3 cup or 4-5 cup carafe. How sweet is that!

Keurig 2.0 Hack

The only down side is that it has newer technology that allows to to see wether or not you are using an actual Keurig branded K-cup. Well, I do not like to pay that much so we quickly figured out a way around this. Here is a video showing you how to get around this so you can use any k-cup!

They other little problem we have had is when it doesn’t pour out enough water. It’s an easy fix as well. You just take a paper clip, unwind it, and use the end to clean out any coffee grinds that have been caught in the dispenser that pokes into the k-cup.

Keurig K-Cup Deals

I’ve also done extensive research on Amazon to find the cheapest k-cups I could get.

The first ones I found were the San Francisco Bay OneCup, Variety Pack, 120 Single Serve Coffees. It comes with 4 types of coffee all of which are caffeinated! They cost 0.36 cents per k-cup. The best part is the coffee is excellent and it’s:

  • 97% biodegradable
  • Grown responsibly and Fairly Traded
  • The Fog Chaser k-cups have a red lid, so they work with the Keurig 2.0 without the hack!
  • Keurig Freedom Clip included in the box.

I will definitely be reordering these.

The second kind I found were not as good of a deal, but again they were all caffeinated and I wanted some fun flavors. These 35-count Guy Fieri Sampler of Single Cup Coffee for Keurig® Brewers had 7 flavors: Bananas Foster, Caramel Apple, Hot Fudge Brownie, Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Mint, American Diner, and Redwood Roast. These cost 0.52 cents a k-cup.

Unfortunately I have not found a good enough deal on the carafe cups to share one here. I will update this as soon as I do.
