Learn about Live Aqua Cancun all inclusive adults only resort and see why you will love it as much as I did!
Live Aqua Cancun
Recently I had a chance to stay at Live Aqua Cancun when I attended the 2016 Gnational Gnomad Summit. Live Aqua Cancun is a sprawling adults only all inclusive ocean front hotel.
The room I stayed in had two double beds, a shower, a large bathtub, a table and chairs, and a lounge chair. The room also had a nice size patio with two chairs, a table, and a killer view of the hotel’s pools and the beach. I loved this room.
What you cannot see is the aroma therapy I got to enjoy all week. The room comes with an aroma therapy menu where you can pick out what scent your room will be filled with. I loved getting to smell eucalyptus every time I walked in the room.
The bathroom amenities were awesome. There was a selection of soaps, so I could pick out what I wanted. My favorite was a eucalyptus and rosemary soap.
Have I mentioned yet that I really enjoyed my room. I had room service every morning in my room or out on the patio. All the room service I ordered for breakfast was delicious. I had the eggs benedict and the huevos rancheros.
Had I wanted to venture out for breakfast I probably would have gone to the buffet. The breakfast buffet is spectacular. I stayed in so I could work each morning while I ate. Plus, look at the sunrise I enjoyed while I had breakfast on the balcony one of the mornings with KidsAreaTrip!
The hotel has free wifi throughout the hotel. It isn’t the best wifi, but it’s certainly better than nothing
The pool area is incredible. There are multiple pools and one of them has a swim up bar. One of the pools is an infinity pool over looking the beach which is always enjoyable.
My favorite bar was the one with swings in between the beach and the pools. They make a killer mudslide at this bar. Erin from Explore with Erin can vouch for this as well.
MB is one of the fancier restaurants found at Live Aqua Cancun. They serve Latin cuisine with an emphasis on local Mexican ingredients and flavors.
Whatever you decide to eat at MB be sure to get the Habanero soup. This is seriously some of the best soup I have ever had in my life.
I also highly recommend getting one of their drinks that they make table side. They put on quite the fire show as they are making them.

Should You Get Travel Insurance?
Don’t forget travel insurance! I’m a fan of Travelex insurance, because of the variety of options. Protect yourself from possible injury & theft abroad. I have gotten extremely sick twice now out of the country and Noah has had seizures in other countries, so I always recommend getting some sort of coverage. Car Rental
If you are looking for a car rental I recommend getting the car at the Cancun Airport. It will make things easier. This entire area is easy to drive around in. Get a Cancun car rental for $11 a day!
