Mandara Spa at Planet Hollywood
The Spa by Mandara can be found upstairs at Planet Hollywood. I highly recommend calling for directions and advice on where to park, because my friend and I walked for what seemed ages before we managed to find the spa. It is extremely hard to find. I had been inside the Miracle Mile Shops before and I struggled to find it anyway.
It is a 32,000-square-foot spa with a Middle Eastern vibe. There are 35 treatment rooms including six couple suites with hot tubs! It also features a large relaxation lounge; separate men’s and women’s spa areas with dry saunas and steam rooms; a full-service hair and nail salon.
To get started they will assign you a locker with a robe and slippers. The locker will be large enough to hold all of your stuff. I remember that I had a lot of stuff, but cannot remember why.
The women’s locker room had a jacuzzi, steam room, and a sauna. The jacuzzi was great and extremely private.
My best friend Lindsey and I were able to get a special deal for a massage and a manicure for under $100. Our manicures were great as was one of our massages. The lady I got kind of blew me off and then gave me about half the time she was supposed to. I complained and was charged half. I would have preferred to just have the normal time.
My friend Lindsey loved everything about her experience and I almost loved everything about it. I think we would want to try out a different spa next time though. I know this one has a sister location inside the Paris hotel and casino.
Compared to other Madara Spas I have visited this one is not quite as nice.
