The Millennium on Broadway is a lovely place to stay in NYC with large rooms near Times Square and Broadway.

Millennium Broadway NYCThe Millennium on Broadway in New York City is in a killer location right next to Times Square behind the Toy’s R Us new Gap and Old Navy. They have nice sized rooms which are great for families. We were extremely comfortable staying here.

We stayed in one of their superior rooms with the following:

  • Floor to ceiling windows
  • Generous work space
  • HDTV with cable channels
  • High-speed Internet access
  • Radio alarm clock
  • In-room safe
  • Climate control
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Hair dryer
  • Coffee and tea makers

The room did not have a fridge or microwave. The toughest part of staying here was that there was no fridge in the room. My kids want cold drinks and I want chill the wine (priorities). I managed to chill my wine in the ice bucket and housekeeping brought up a wine opener upon request.

Our room had two double beds and a chair.

If we had moved the chair there would have been room for a double size air mattress. There was also room in the massive front hallway of our room that was large enough to fit a queen size air mattress.

Millennium on Broadway has a kid’s program. For a $15 fee your child will receive a teddy bear, a drawstring sack, and a coloring book.

The hotel also had a restaurant and a bar. I didn’t have the chance to visit either, but here is what their website says about it.

Restaurant Charlotte is one of the most popular Midtown Manhattan restaurants, with attentive staff, warm décor, and light fare. It provides the perfect spot for a buffet breakfast or a la carte dining.

Charlotte Bar and Lounge is ideal for unwinding after a hard day. Guests can opt for a light lunch from the menu, which includes soups, salads, and sandwiches, or simply relax in the evening with a well-deserved cocktail.

I definitely recommend staying here for families.

The only thing I didn’t like, was when Obama visited a Broadway show nearby and we got stuck in Times Square for three hours. It is probably not possible, but if a major person like this is visiting Times Square then I would stay somewhere away from Times Square. Out of all the times we have visited NYC this is the only time this has happened.
