The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France was stunning. The stain glass windows were beautiful as were the many paintings. They have kept the cathedral in great condition.
It is free admission to get in. Although there was a huge line to get in when I went the lined moved quickly.

The archaeological crypt under the square in front of Notre Dame de Paris was built to protect remains discovered during excavations, by the Commission of the old Paris.
The towers of Notre Dame are dated from the 13th century, the gargoyles and the chimerical sculptures were built by Viollet-le-Duc in the nineteenth century, as well as the drone of the seventeenth century.
