Did you know that there is an amusement park in Portland, Oregon? Oaks Park is a small amusement park located in Portland, Oregon in the Sellwood area. They’ve got rides for every age. One area is set up just for younger children, which is perfect for kids 2 – 7 years old. Most of the rides are what you would typically find at a fair or carnival. The best deal is to get your kid a wristband that allows them to ride all of the rides for $16. If your child is too little to ride the largest rides, then get the limited bracelet for $13.
They also have an indoor skating rink and putt-putt. The skating rink hosts a preschool time each week.

Oaks Amusement Park is one of the oldest, continuously operating amusement parks in the country. Built in the early 1900’s, Oaks Park is a collection of classic entertainment and smaller thrill rides. Hidden away in Southeast Portland, the park is tucked in-between the Willamette River and the Sellwood neighborhood. Its location provides for a secluded, country feel. Surrounding the amusement park are large grassy picnic areas overlooking the river and Portland’s Southwest river shore.
Oaks Amusement Park is also home to the Multnomah County Fair held in early summer.
