Pazzo Ristorante is a delicious Italiant restaurant in Portland, Oregon. It is located downtown inside Hotel Vintage. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week.
Update: Pazzo Ristorante has closed. I was shocked to hear that they had closed. This was such a fantastic restaurant.
Located within Hotel Vintage this is no ordinary hotel restaurant. I have now had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Pazzo Ristorante and I have never had a meal there I haven’t loved. The day I had breakfast there is was quiet, but the day I had lunch is was bustling with people. I love that on a nice sunny day they set up tables outside and create a patio.
I had a lunch in downtown Portland yesterday that was so spectacular I can’t stop thinking about it today! Chef Kenny Giambalvo returned to Pazzo earlier this year and his take on Italian favorites is outstanding. If you haven’t stopped in to eat here recently I recommend dining here again.
Clam Linguine: made with Manila clams, tomatoes, garlic, calabrian peppers, and sicilian olive oil. Typically I do not eat seafood, but this was too good not to eat.
They offer happy hour daily from 2:30pm – 5pm and they have a mind blowing mushroom carpaccio during happy hour! It is pictured above in that first photo. If nothing else at least stop in for a glass of wine and the mushroom carpaccio!
Pazzo Ristorante does provide Hotel Vintage’s room service. We ordered their room service the last time we stayed there and I was extremely happy with it. The kid’s meals were reasonably priced and they got huge portions!
Have you eaten at Pazzo Ristorante? What did you have?
