Portland Children's Museum

After hearing a variety of things about the Portland Children’s Museum we finally tried it out for ourselves.  To be honest, I had low expectations, but quickly realized I had heard wrong.

I thought the whole place was fantastic and regretted not getting over there sooner. I thought each room was really well laid out so that it didn’t seem too crowded, even though there were tons of people there that day.

The museum has a baby room, a water room, a room just for digging, music room and more.

The water play area had smocks for the kids to wear so they would not get their clothes wet. (That’s my sweet little niece.)10371415_10102629074525538_5050320067724268160_n

They had a few live shows going on while we were there, which were interesting and well done.

I practically had to drag my children out of there!

They host traveling interactive exhibits as well, which provides a great opportunity for kids to learn and experience something new. To see what they are offering or have coming up check out their website.

Portland Children's MuseumI noticed on their website that they have art classes for children 2 – 12 and they also have a variety of camps.
