Saint Honore Bakery has opened a beautiful new location on Division. I think the pictures do it justice showing how clean and crisp it is. The pictures do not show the cozy tables, but I assure you they are there and there is plenty of seating. With the new opening, they debuted a special happy hour menu just for this location. They are calling it their “Apero menu” and it is available every day from 4 PM until close. It included spaetzle, salads, and more.
Although they serve alcohol here children are allowed. I think this would make a great place to go with kids. I love kid-friendly happy hours! Plus, your kids can get a little treat.
Other specials include the tarte of the day and the soup of the day. Their tarte flambees are basically flatbread pizzas. Somehow I did not end up with a picture of one, but they are excellent. I had a tarte flambee topped with bacon lardon, fresh onions and crème fraiche. (Okay, fine I’ll admit it I ended up having two..or three.)
These green macaroons are one of their newest treats. The Apple Cider Macaroons are amazing. I am not really a macaroon fan, but these were incredible.
They offer some fun and unique cider cocktails. Including white and red cider sangria. I overheard the bartender talk about their ciders with a customer and it was in-depth and way over my head. From what I can tell they are cider experts and have all different types of ciders that they use in their drinks. None of the drinks we tried were made with the same cider.
