Have you seen something myself or the kids were wearing in a photo or video and wondered where to buy it. Here are the details on where to shop my outfits and the kid’s outfits. Everything we were is affordable, because, let’s face it. I’m a single mom and I am on a budget. But being on a budget doesn’t mean we don’t look good. I think we still manage to look alright.
So, I am a little late to the game, but I finally joined the LiketoKnow.it program. You can now shop my outfits including clothes, jewelry, and shoes. How fun is that?! I am not too good at updating my profile but I do here and there.
I don’t really have a set style, although I do wear a lot of ruffles. I don’t really go with the trends, but I think I usually look decent enough. I like to look nice and I appreciate clothes that are timeless. Probably cause of that whole single mom budget thing I’ve got going on.
You can find me and follow me at https://www.liketoknow.it/mommytravels.
You will probably notice that a lot of my outfits are from the same places. Some of my favorite stores are Altar’d State and Francesca’s. I also use Stitch Fix a lot for the convenience.

Shop My Outfits
Buy that sassy blue dress pictured above! I found it at Altar’d State.
Lately I’ve been enjoying wrap dresses. This light blue one, I am wearing inside of a cave hotel in Santorini. I found on Amazon and it’s been one of the better clothing purchases I’ve made on Amazon. You can also shop it on the app or here: http://liketk.it/2wxY1
I also got this white dress on Amazon. It came with a little tie, but I didn’t think it looked good, so I ditched it.
Buy this flowing country girl looking dress. This one is also from Altar’d State.
You can shop these jeans, top, earrings, and bracelet. The earrings are Kendra Scott. They make great jewelry and during your birthday month they give you half off any item! The rest is from Just Fab. Typically I only buy shoes from them, but I ended up buying some clothes there and really like them.
Hanging out in downtown Portland http://liketk.it/2wfBu Shop the jewelry, purse, flip flops, jeans, and top!
My favorite jeans paired with my white Adidas sneakers while I chill out at the Thompson hotel in Seattle. Shop this look.
This next look was super casual. I was spending the day driving around Utah in a Hyundai Santa Fe.
I wear Waikami Bracelets everyday. Why, because they provide jobs for women in Guatemala.
Swim Suits
I spend a lot of time at the beach for work (I know my life is super tough.) and have acquired quite an assortment of bathing suits. I really like Betsey Johnson bathing suits, Carve Designs and Lucky Brand.
Buy this: Lucky Brand Tie Dye Bikini. A random note about this swimsuit, I lost a lot of weight and then it was too big. I got rid of the hook in the back and use matching ribbon to close it to make it fit. This is a great little hack to tighten up any swimsuit top.
Buy this: Polka Dot Bikini and black bikini skirt. They are two different brands and I love this swimsuit skirt. I mix an match it with a ton of different tops. You really can’t go wrong with a solid bathing suit bottom.
Buy this Betsy Johnson: Black floral bikini
This is another one of my favorite Betsy Johnson swimsuit tops and then the same bottoms I wear all the time.
And since the kids travel with me I will occasionally be sharing their fashion as well.
Now you can shop Noah’s beach look too! http://liketk.it/2wkgH
And Eden’s beach looks. http://liketk.it/2wkg7
I recently up’d our swimsuit game with matching swimsuits for Eden and I. I think they turned out super cute. There are over 20 variations of this suit, so it was easy to mix and match and find one we would each like. They were cheap too, around $27 each, which included the top and the bottoms.
Rompers
Another thing I wear a lot of is rompers. I am not sure why, but I just really like them.
Here I am above, feeling fun and feisty in the Dominican Republic at Sunscape Bavaro in a floral romper!
Eden and I enjoy an Oahu sunset at the beach in front of Disney Aulani. I’m wearing an off white Billabong romper. White and blues are good for beach photos.
I have a few rompers I wear as swimsuit cover ups. This is one of them, a green and black O’Neill romper. I’m swinging at Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica!
And still beach bumming in Jamaica, only this time in a pink floral romper by O’Neill which I am also using as a swimsuit coverup.
Sunglasses
Everyone needs to have a good pair of sunglasses. I wear Maui Jim sunglasses and love them.
- Plastic frame – I find that when traveling I will mess up metal frames so now I only buy sunglasses with plastic frames.
- Gradient lens
- Polarized
- Saddle bridge with nose pad inserts for a secure fit.
- Metal hinges for a secure open and close.
- SuperThin® lens material is 20% thinner than standard glass lenses and delivers sharp optics with great scratch resistance.
- 100% UV protection.
- PolarizedPlus2® lens treatment eliminates glare.
- Hard case included.
Sun Hat
You can’t go to the beach without the perfect sun hat! Also shown, my go-to shorts. I tend to buy most my khaki or colored shorts from Loft.
This next sun hat is from Land’s End. I’m wearing it while I chill in a hammock in Turks and Caicos.
This is a fun beach blue and white tie dye tank top by Billabong. I’m hanging out in Montego Bay at the beach in front of the Sandals.
Here I am lounging around in Cancun at The Grand at Moon Palace. This shirt is perfect for wearing over a bathing suit. You can shop this shirt and shorts.
Clubbing Dresses
And if you are going clubbing I have a few outfits for that too! This first dress I own in black and red. Nothing beats a little black dress, unless of course you are in Bangkok and then you should wear a little red dress!
You have to wear matching pajamas for Christmas! http://liketk.it/2warG
