Splitsville Orlando

Splitsville Orlando

On our most recent visit to Walt Disney World I found myself having lunch and bowling at Splitsville, Orlando without my kids. (Yes, they were ticked off about it.) Located in Disney Springs, this luxury bowling alley is the perfect place to go with or without kids while you are vacationing in Orlando.

That’s right, even without kids. Can you say cocktails?!? They’ve got a great cocktail menu and the prices are pretty good. That’s the drink I had pictured below. It was an extra large Hurricane and it only cost me $15. These larger drinks are the highest priced drinks on the menu. They are large enough to split, but who would want to and honestly after a few days with kids in the theme parks you are gonna need a drink. If you are traveling with your in-laws you will need at least two of these. For those of you looking for cheaper options there are plenty available.

Not only are the drinks great, but the food is surprisingly good. Just take a look at this sushi platter. Obviously this isn’t your typical bowling alley food and that’s because Splitsville is anything but average. Besides the sushi I had a chicken sandwich too, that was excellent. And the pizza was so good, especially the BBQ pizza. It was thin pizza though, so if that isn’t your thing, you will not like it. The pizzas cost between $14 and $17. I also tried one of their bowls and hated it, so skip them because they are just not flavorful.

The bowling lanes are spread throughout the facility to give you a more private bowling experience. It’s perfect for a family or a group. They charge by the hour and it costs between $15 -$20 per person per hour. I should mention that they sell great socks here. If you are like me and only wear flip flops chances are you are gonna need some socks. I went with some super patriotic socks.
