It’s strawberry season in many parts of the United States and one of my favorite ways to use strawberries is in a strawberry cocktail! This cocktail is a sweet one! You’ve probably noticed by now that I have a bit of a sweet tooth when it comes to drinks, remember the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Martini. I figure if I am going to drink in those kind of calories, it should be for a sweet treat. This is also a good recipe for making larger quantities if you are having a party.
This strawberry cocktail is great for a Luau party. I love that it only takes a few seconds to blend up, and you don’t have to have any special supplies to make. Any blender works great, but a Ninja Blender is my personal favorite option. It is so versatile and works super fast. No worries about clumps of ice in the mix since it will blend it perfectly.
Wash and dice your strawberries and place them in your blender for 60 seconds on puree
In a cocktail shaker, add Guava juice, Tropical fruit Rum, Grenadine, Strawberry puree, and Malibu Rum — shake well to combine.
Pour your mix into your glass and top with pineapple juice
Garnish with a Strawberry
As you can see, this Strawberry Cocktail is going to be a favorite! It’s such a beautiful cocktail that is full of your favorite tropical fruit flavors. It is ideal for serving at your weekend BBQ, or at a special luau themed birthday party. There is nothing as yummy as a great fruit cocktail like this!
I love serving in a clear glass so the colors pop, and of course, for that tropical flare, you need to pop a sliver of strawberry on the side alongside the classic cocktail umbrella. It’s the perfect fun combination for celebrating, and is even ideal for a girls night out cocktail!
