Taco soup is incredibly easy to make, rich in flavor, and your family is sure to love it. Plus, it is one of the cheapest things I know how to make.
Taco Soup Recipe

Taco soup is a Tex-Mex staple in my house. It’s so good, everyone eats it and it is literally one of the easiest things you can make. If you are in college looking for an easy recipe, this is it. Fun worthless fact, I got the recipe from my step grandma. She was a horrible person and had the face of a bulldog. This soup recipe was her only redeeming quality.

Taco Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 onion chopped (you can also throw in chopped bell pepper and jalapeno if you like)

2 cans Ranch Beans
2 cans Corn
1 can Rotel original with green chilies
2 cans water
1 package ranch seasoning/dressing packet
1 package Taco seasoning

Directions:

Brown the ground beef or ground turkey with the onion. You will want to thaw out the meat ahead of time if possible.

While the meat is browning combine the beans, corn, rotel, water, taco seasoning, and ranch dressing mix together in a large pot. Start to heat it up.

Once the meat is done drain off any grease and then add it to the soup.

Bring the soup to a boil. If there is not enough liquid add more water.

Serve hot.

Top off your Taco Soup with torilla chips and cheese.
