Texas Caviar (also commonly referred to as cowboy caviar depending on where you are from) is one of my most favorite appetizers. Although apparently some people serves this and call in a black-eye pea salad. This is one of my go to recipes when I am hosting a party, especially if I have a lot of people to feed. It’s easy to make and tastes great. I serve it with tortilla chips like a dip.

I have two versions of this that I make. A super simple version and a jazzed up version.
