There are so many wonderful shows in Las Vegas and I have seen over half of them at this point which is no easy feat. Granted, I lived in Las Vegas for a year and a half. After seeing why too many shows here are the Vegas shows I thought were the best. You can take kids to all of these shows.Beatles Love

Top 8 Las Vegas Shows

1. The Beatles “LOVE” by Cirque du Soleil

Honor the band that changed pop music forever in the Cirque du Soleil performance, LOVE. Set to the fast-paced and youthful energy created by the dancers, jaw-dropping Cirque Du Soleil aerial acts and more, this performance recreates the excitement that surrounded this legendary band in their hay-day. This is hands down the best Cirque du Soleil show I’ve seen so far. It’s incredibly elaborate and yes, you will know all the songs! We were way, way up in what is probably considered the bad seats but it didn’t matter. We could still see everything!

2. Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil

An incomparable night of music, acrobatics, artistry and sheer creative genius is yours to explore during Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil at Mandalay Bay.

This is the second best Cirque du Soleil show I’ve seen. When the hologram of Michael Jackson is up there dancing with the dancers…..it’s amazing.

3. Mystere

If you are traveling with elementary aged children I highly recommend making this the Cirque du Soleil show that you see. It’s silly and fun. Your kids will get a huge kick out of it and it will hold their attention. It also doesn’t hurt that this is the most affordable Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas.

4. Blue Man Group at Luxor

The Strip got a little more colorful when Blue Man Group claimed stake at Luxor Las Vegas. This show has all of the elements you would expect from the multinational and insanely successful Blue Man Productions, but they’ve amped up this musical extravaganza to another level, adding more audience interactive elements, and as always, the unexpected.

My kids love the Blue Man group. I think it’s a little weird, but highly entertaining.

5. KA by Cirque du Soleil

KÀ ™ is an unforgettable acrobatic adventure featuring a rotating stage, which allows the combination of fierce combat with perfectly executed sequences. With innovative storytelling techniques, it’s a thrilling Cirque du Soleil ® journey with love, loss, and conflict…

I recommend not having too much to drink before seeing this show, because it is super dark and you will fall asleep. And yes, I am speaking from experience. Oops.

6. Absinthe at Caesars Palace

Absinthe is taking Las Vegas by storm, stripside at Caesars Palace. Described by The New York Times as “Cirque channeled through The Rocky Horror Show”, Absinthe is an intoxicating collision of circus, burlesque and vaudeville featuring curious creatures, heavenly bodies and outrageous comedy.

7. Cirque du Soleil – O!

All the world is water and the stage is all the world.” Welcome to the world of “O.” With a production that has never been attempted or imagined until now, this leading Las Vegas show is sure to amaze you in the same way it has for sold-out audiences.

8. Le Reve

Let your subconscious take flight while you’re wide awake when you experience LE RÊVE. You’ll quickly see LE RÊVE is a show unlike anything you’ve witnessed before. If you’ve seen it before it maybe time to see it again, because they made some big changes in the last couple of years.

9. David Copperfield

Hailed by audiences and critics alike as the greatest illusionist of our time, David Copperfield has elevated the ancient art of magic to new heights and redefined it over the past few decades. And now he is bringing his magic back to Vegas for a special show at the MGM Grand.

Random fact: My dad hates David Copperfield but not as much as he hates Penn and Teller.
