TownePlace Suites Bend, Oregon is located minutes from downtown Bend and close to Mt. Bachelor for skiing and hiking. Not to mention it’s right behind my favorite breakfast place in Bend, the Original Pancake House. I was extremely comfortable staying here and recommend it as one of the top places to stay in Bend.
Military Discount
The going rate for the night we stayed was $179, which was decent for a holiday weekend in a tourist destination. We were able to get the military discount which was $104. So, needless to say they have a substantial military discount.
Our room featured one king bed and a small couch that made into a bed. When you look at their website this room is called the King larger studio with sofabed. I stayed here with my two boys and we had plenty of room. However, if my daughter had been with us it would have been a little crowded.
We did have a full kitchen. We didn’t end up utilizing it, but if we had been in town longer we would have been able to save so much money by eating in a meal or two. Bend isn’t a super expensive, but it’s not cheap either.
The complimentary breakfast here was good. It included waffles, eggs, and sausage.
There is a pool and hot tub. The hot tub is open year round and the pool is open seasonally. We were there over Labor Day weekend and it wasn’t that warm, but the pool was still open.
This is a pet friendly hotel. As far as I know all TownePlace Suites are pet friendly.
