Zip Lining in Copan
Our family, including all three kids ages 10, 7, and 4, had an amazing adventure while in Honduras. We went on one of the world’s greatest zip lines in Copan, Honduras with the Los Sapos Canopy Tour.
I was not sure if they would let Jonah zip line since he was only 4 years old, but they let him go tandem!
We zipped down 14 different cables. One of the lines was 1 km long. This was the first time zip lining for all of us. Although we were high up, it was not scary. All three kids did great. The younger two went tandem, each time. Our oldest went tandem, but also took a few lines by himself once he felt comfortable.
This is me. I thought it was just too much fun.
To arrange zip lining with Canopy Tours, just ask your hotel about it. The canopy tour will send a vehicle to pick you up.
When I saw how they attached the zip lines to the trees I was less than thrilled. We had already gone down 3 or 4 lines before we saw this! Obviously we are all still alive, so ultimately it was fine.
